I don't want to 'escape' my job or really even achieve financial freedom in the way most folks talk about. 

I would guess you need to make a Freedom of Information request from the city water department.   

Is this really the best path to financial freedom?

I owe just under 150k on the property.My question is, do I refinance and pull my equity out to invest or do I pay the property off and enjoy the freedom and peace of mind of not having the mortgage? 

1st post and am ready to take the plunge into financial freedom and the headache of renters!

I would absolutely love to work with a partner but don’t know how to find one who can match my level of integrity and work ethic (not to sound arrogant, just have found it can be hard to find trustworthy reliable people these days).I would like to eventually transition out of the current industry I work in, and want to use my real estate portfolio to give me the freedom to pursue other ventures. 

But that's great to know about the freedom you have to invest in family, its important to me to not build anything I have to be attached to for more than a few hours a day.

Apart from saving for the course, I have also begun reserving funds for my first investment property, with a long-term goal of achieving financial freedom through investing in small and large multifamily buildings.As a newbie in this field, I am keen to shadow anyone who is willing to mentor me and show me the ropes.

Our goal is to invest in multi-family housing and obtain financial freedom.

I guess I just have to wait a little longer to start my journey toward financial freedom!
