Taxpayers are paying you a comfortable living wage to go to college, while our civilian peers are going tens and often hundreds of thousands of dollars into debt to go to college.

I went on Thursday of last week but I had no idea what I was looking at and I was too shy to ask the women that worked there (I know, got to get out of the comfort zone - but look, give me a break, I'm naturally shy and I at least walked in and got to the files; that's progress).

What areas in Milwaukee are you comfortable renting in?  

Because I got these properties at such a good discount (the 9 pack was being bought for $350,000, but was worth about $600,000 after rehab...so about 70% LTV) my lender was comfortable lending this buyer the money. 

I will add, its going to depend alot on your comfort level to invest in less then desirable areas , fix up and let the market catch up to you.  

Not only does this make you more appealing to agents and sellers (they know you are both qualified AND serious) but it gives you confidence that you are comfortable with payments and cash to close.

So I'm relatively comfortable and well on my way in developing my design and construction experience and am looking to get some exposure to real estate and financing.

So we hit a snag on our last round of financing and are looking to buy some time and comfort with a hard money loan.  

The rents are around market rates with about a 100 window to raise the rents over the next couple years (maybe more) (they are pretty comfortable apartments with two bedrooms and washer and dryers inside. 

@Matthew Livesay As others have said, you better make sure all of those structures/units are permitted and comforting.
