However, on bigger crowd funders, that's usually not an issue since they'll have staff lawyer going over these to make sure they meet security law.However, problem with these crowd funding sites (like the DST brokers) is they're selling it as a security - They won't have a clue on it's worth as a real estate investment and rely on the syndicator's numbers.You'll need someone that knows about the underlying real estate conditions/assumptions in the market you're buying in to tell you if the forward-looking assumptions are realistic.
