It's shocking to new or non-park owners to hear:  you just give the homes away to a family who wants to become home owners for 1 months rent as the purchase price, but a somewhat higher lot rent.The math on what you actually get to keep at the end of the year on home rentals depending on the area is a lot lower than one hopes because:  turn over, damage, non-payment leading to eviction, repairs, replacing appliances etc etc.

I just closed on a junk fire damaged house and I have several deals in escrow, I also have an overpriced house that I added on a crazy amount for my assignment fee and am shocked that one of my buyers wants it.

I can only assume the department waived the additional charges or made some deal that made the tenant happy since I haven't heard any more complaints in our follow up conversations.What is annoying is that it shocks me that no one thought the sound of a toilet running for about 45 days straight was a problem until they got the bill.
