I know I can get the information through the county recorders offices... follow chain of title through deed transfers, easements/ccrs/special rights would all be on the deed, right?

It doesn’t really matter.....assuming the mtg foreclosing was Recorded before the tax lien was, the IRS has 120 days from the sale, or from receiving proper notice of the foreclose didn’t serve them, to redeem (pay you back your purchase price.

Also, i usually check the Bibb tax assessors website for current and past assessed values at: http://www.co.bibb.ga.us/TaxAs...Click on “Search Records” then “Property Record Cards” and plug in the address and you’ll get some valuable information.
