I'm in Dallas, TX and planning to remodel the bathroom and kitchen of my condo so I can eventually rent it out.

Garage was converted to an additional living area.

The kitchen needs a rehab.It's an oil furnace which would have to be converted because I can only imagine the heating bills would be insane to heat the place.A local realtor thinks 250 max for the property, but the seller wants 400.

Then, eventually, three homes a year.

I gotta take risks eventually and i figured this could be where i start.opinions?

@Joe Fairless I'm looking to get started in wholesaling then eventually get into rehabbing once I've built enough capital and connections

From my experience (primarily with employees) it is extremely rare that I have thought seriously about firing one and then didn't realize eventually that it was definitely the right choice.

Most of my available funds are tied up in this project.The house is in a pretty bad part of town, but has gotten a lot of press that it is turning the corner....warehouses converted into artists' studios, a brewery, and pubs and more upscale restaurants are now there.  

Eventually, the investor and my family parted ways and long story short we were left to sell the house and remaining profit.

I'm planning to live here while I get this journey going and then eventually flip or rent out depending on the market at the time I'm ready.Next I'd like to talk more about what I plan to do next.
