Then I fund the SDIRA by transfering money from my existing IRAThen I set up an S Corp (Object of S Corp is to flip houses and occasional buy and hold, I will be taking a reasonable salary and the flow through goes to dividends thereby reducing some of the taxes vs an LLC.)The SDIRA will purchase the majority of shares of the SCorp thereby funding it's operations.Aside from being careful of the Corporate requirements (register dba name, holding shareholder meetings, annual reports, filings ect.)

I don't know how all of this works, and what all goes into making this, but it would be interesting to see occasional video clips of real estate topics, similar to the articles/blogs, or interviews with some of the top ranked posters to get to know them better.

And occasionally I will pay myself personally from that account some amount (not sure how much or how often).When filing for the LLC I would use my 'generic mailbox' as the LLC address and will find an attorney to be my Registered Agent.

(I also occasionally mention that insurance companies make the decisions they do on the basis of a hell of a lot of information, and so may in fact know more about pits than the idiots who pick one up at the shelter and have their toddler wrestling with it a week later.)This is one area where statutory limitations on security deposits can hurt tenants.

Having a friend or family member that can occasionally drive by and see if your property is still standing is not the same as having professional property management and I would never recommend someone invest out of state without professional management.
