But it is not worth paying the premiums people are these days because there are much better deals in the smaller properties. 

I'd like to cover, at minimum, my mortgage if something were to happen and would like to keep my premiums in check.  

Finally, I'm happy - scratch that: willing and looking - to pay premium for education because I'm inexperienced with all this stuff (that's the "other intangible value" I mentioned in my long rambling OP).

They have other lower premiums down to $56/month but then the deductible is like $6k:/  Also, others on BP have talked about how responsive USAA is and how they always pay claims and they are excellent to work with even though are a bit pricy.  

There are specific requirements to get it but there is always PMI.I would prefer the single premium (single payment) mortgage.

I contacted that  individual who paid to the original investor the amount of taxes owed, plus a premium of $1,800. 

Please give me any companies that have fairly affordable premiums/ or any agencies/companies that you use.
