For example, if you were having him quote a kitchen remodel, he might quote higher end material/finishes (i.e. custom cabinets) if he knew it was going to be for your personal residence, and lower end materials finishes (builder grade cabinets) if he knew it was just going to be for a rental so he could save you some money.

It pointing into the common areas, which is defined in the lease (kitchen, living rooms, hallways, garage), I stated in the lease the use of security camera's in common areas (it's pointed towards kitchen, living room, which includes the front and back doors, I have one in the garage) and it's stated they are for the use in case of theft or damage to property.
