After that rehab, he ended up going to satellite dish installs and seems a lot more engaged than he was doing the rehab stuff there for us at the end.At the end of the day, it worked out fine for us.

Located in a great neighborhood, formal DR, family room, built-in shelving, laundry closet & lrg eat-in kitchen w/ plenty of cabinet space.The home was once a rental, then individual family purchased it, they were foreclosed on, and the home sat empty for over 1 year.I have made some modifications to the home since I purchased with the help of family:  installed 2 new ceiling fans in the bedrooms, replaced 2 interior door knobs, replaced all outlets with 3 prong grounded, rewired the living room and hung double ceiling fans as there was not lighting other than lamp plugged into outlet, painted the dining room and kitchen, installed a dish washer, some small landscaping projects around the home, had ancient HVAC system serviced,  but much more needs to be done.

After this we ended up painting over wallpaperKitchen:-Replace kitchen counters with formica-Remove/replace ceiling tiles with drywallBathrooms:-R&R 2 Toilets, 2 lights, 2 vents, 2 vanity-Install tub surround-Demo tiled ceiling in one bathroom and replace with drywall-Install glass shower door in one bathroomBottom line:-17k Purchase-15k Remodel cost-Rented for $1050 / month.

I had a berm installed alongside the home, buried my down spouts out 10 feet with popup drain tiles, and cleaned/rehung the gutters.
