You should be to find events and start networking it members there.

I feel like there's a solution here where we all win.We're intending to manage the property ourselves, but will only go in on a deal if the numbers work *with* a PM company in the event that managing the property becomes overbearing.

Start growing your network, look on Facebook/BiggerPockets for different events, find a mentor doing what you want to do, and get to know the local lenders/brokers.Try to attend your local REI networking groups and meetups.
