I'm just curious how a Master key system works because I just moved in and there appears to be too many people, some of them unknown and strange ,that have a master key to all the locks there..

Either investors are buying them for appreciation or to lock up the land or house hackers are doing it to save insane rent. 

I have an August smart lock and will have a smart tv. 

So I stay there with the contractor until he's done and lock up when I'm done. 

Quotes from the same day and same scenario, and you later validated the low-end one by saying "lock now!"

The other factor is a lot of investor deals are not only skinny, but little as well, if you find a property with $100K AVR, needing $30K Rehab, I need to pay $40K for that deal, if you want a fee, and we figure in other costs, you need to lock it down in the low $20's just to make a couple grand.
