(ive even done it before with my bank every check that is attempted to cash my bank has to call me for verification, so I checked the unit and there was holes in the walls and dog crap on the floor so when my bank called i told them to void that check and not cash it.. then when the tenant got mad he tried to go back to the property but I already had contractors working so he didnt try anything foolish.. after a week he stopped coming around and tried to find another landlord to screw over)
