my question is I am going back to school and thought I would buy a home where I go, pay the mortgage with student loans and then keep it to rent or sell it and get my equity back. my question is does anyone know if I were to go ahead and buy the house, would that impact my ability to get student loans?

I don't know if that's a fair assessment or not, because I'm not factoring in my student loan payments - I consider paying them off to be 'saving' money.
