You would probably need to issue a W-2 for your wife.On $100K, it likely will not provide a huge benefit to add your wife, as you would likely not max out contributions in your own name, but having her as a documented employee of the company would allow her to rollover existing savings from another retirement plan into the account.

The benefits of the 401k, however, are mostly focused on higher contributions, which must come from the income of the business that is sponsoring the plan, so if you are selling $1500 on eBay, is it really worth going through the process of establishing and administering a Solo 401k?

They are way overpriced, the classes don’t give you enough information and they try to upsell you a coaching program to counterbalance the incomplete course.I know this because when we started I maxed out two credit cards to take one of those $11,000 courses.Later, at my local Real Estate Investor Association, I learned a good course should only run around $500.

I ran the Transunion SmartMove background check with credit report, criminal history, and eviction report and it came back clean, but had to reject two other applicants after their SmartMove scores came back low for low credit scores and numerous pre-eviction filings at local courts.
