Thoughts on pink cast iron tubs?

I fixed up the other unit with the bare minimum and house hacked.

We've found that we double our rent with MTR and barely ever hear from the people.

I can't say much now because a lot of this could end up in litigation, but man, there's nothing like REI to give you stories to share.Almost every day is an adventure, and most of them are barely on the edge of believability.

Please bare with me here...this is going to be lengthy and i apologize for sharing my life story but i just need help and direction!!!!

Your numbers are solid numbers for a deal, specially for your first deal, what you did is already 10x better than just getting a huge mortgage that you can barely afford on a nice big house just for yourself. 

There is no "material layer" like a laminate that could just start to peel...it just sanded down to bare wood.  

I have the equity in the property to cover the 20% needed for the loan and the DTI, but just barely.  

Why let someone occupy a $ 100k++ asset with a bare bones agreeement that covers none of the edge conditions that come up once in a blue moon that a good agreement anticipates and deals with. 

The best projects I can find I will barely break even (in terms of cash flow) until years 3-5.
