With housing and construction costs so high here, these seem like an attractive alternative, if they can actually be shipped in for a sensible cost...and our significant Asian population seems attracted to smaller, more efficient floorplans.

If someone put's properties up that are in trust or an LLC, it's not hard to follow that chain back to you or even to any partners or others, maybe to your privaye lender, that little old lady on the deed of trust.I sure would like to see what some people actually hold, if they didn't lie about it, but for me to do so prid pro quo for the sake of my curiosities would be rather foolish.

A few hundred dollars to avoid an eviction down the road is well worth it.Craigslist, yard signs and local newspapers attract weirdos.This is just based on my experience and my protege's.

One of the places I'm exploring is setup as I described above, with each building having a different address number (but still being part of the same lot from what I can see on the county assessor's website).My internal debate right now is whether I should explore this property any further, or set my sights on 4-unit or smaller buildings where financing rates might be more attractive.
