I'd love to help them out and learn from them while me and my partner get our business off the ground.My partner mentioned 'bird dogging' as a possible route to take so I may look into that.

My bread & butter was cruching the numbers on a deal, then get the ugliest house on the block, and turn it into the top dog in 6 months!

Would only do nothing down and non-recourse and that way you only have time into the deal and learn experience and can hand the dog back if it doesn't work out.This is if you are new and have time to burn to learn the ropes.
