House hacking, brrrr, outright investing purchases are great but when starting out I think one missing thing not talked about enough is the value of getting a good “base hit” (since your a baseball dude) on your primary residence.

The #1 thing your missing is connecting with an inspector you can trust!

You should educate yourself on the basic premise, then come ask specific questions to fill in the missing details or find best practices.

On the statement they typically have the assessed value and the taxes due, the only thing you are missing is the percent of the assessed value used to calculate the taxes.
