A water resistant laminate plank, or high end LVP, might actually make more sense here if people are coming in from the beach/pool and wetting the floors on a daily basis.

The orange shingles were updated to a darker weathered wood color so ignore that color that works with the brick.

I just feel that with me knowing whats behind the wall and the details like mold resistant sheet rock in the bathrooms, all new pex water lines and manifold in the garage, all new flexible duct work and insulation in the attic, etc that I could speak to it better and I feel pretty confident about that.Here are some updated before and after photos.
