I am going to tell you what we've done, as we are at the end of our military career. 

I have just been reading up on the oppurtunities that these lease options present and believe it could be a benefit to my investing career and it seems like for certain situations this could be the best option.

My wife and I are looking to create supplemental positive cash flow while we retain our current careers, and have decided to look towards a multi-unit property rather than a single family for our first property purchase (living in one unit until we purchase another property).

Maybe some of the big name places that offer a ton of training and stuff for those that truly want to pursue a career as an agent.For the investor-agent you do usually want to go with a smaller independent office that won't have as many fees and better commission structure as well as flexibility in their numbers.My guy is very cool and the niche is working with investors and having investor agents so no hassles in doing mostly my own stuff.  

Or can you recommend another source that has helped you begin your investment career?

My career has been in management consulting in the oil and gas industry.  

It's a great career field but it won't make you wealthy.
