@Marc Rice I already checked the directory and no realtors for anchorage specifically are listed on BP and while I could go to google, I’d prefer recommendations from other investors which is why I asked in the local sub forum.

In the explanation of what an ARM is and why someone might prefer it, the course mentions that hybrid ARMs often have an initial fixed period of the loan in which the interest rate is usually lower than what you might get with a standard fixed-rate mortgage.I was wondering if anyone had any experience or thoughts on using this initial fixed period to obtain a low-interest rate and then refinancing to a fixed-rate mortgage before the ARM is adjusted.

Just trying to make sure I understand correctly the benefit and tax consequences of multi-family syndication investments.Let's say you invest in a hypothetical syndication deal as a LP, ~20% IRR (2.5x multiple), 7% Preferred Return, Cash flowing from year 1, and exit in 5 years.and let's assume the sponsor executes perfectly to the plan. and you invest $100k in the deal.
