Maybe get a trade school certificate, or a degree, or start your own business, or take a code/cybersecurity boot camps so that you will be marketable to get the job.

Now I agree with you it will drop (maybe not same degree) but region matters.  

Possibly, once your business reaches a certain level, you may be able to put it on “auto pilot”, to a degree.

A concern I have at this time is that overall the market is slowing here on O'ahu and with some US and global economic challenges, it seems like there will be better investing opportunities if one is patient.
