HI.So i'm looking to make my first move as an out of town investor.

The area that I would think about doing is the town that I grew up in. 

If you do not already know of a savvy real estate attorney in town I would recommend finding one.

Then again they do have a beautiful High School now so I am hoping that helps bring more people to the town. 

My town has at least eight colleges, but my duplex is in no way marketed toward students.

We also like the east side of the Hudson more because of train access and overall it seems a little nicer and closer to towns.

I live in a relatively small town in central Texas with a population somewhere around 21,000.  

He instructed last year and is now flying tours in Hawaii over the angry volcano. lol I second the house hack idea if you’re ok with an out of town investment once your 18 months are up.
