I know I opened a credit card halfway through college to start to build credit and also interned at the same company for 2+ years during school so I don't necessarily know if those aspects helped me qualify or if you would be able to qualify just by having a full time job right out of school.

And if you are going to do it on the legal side (getting permits) then when you start messing with structure/supports then that opens a whole new aspect and expense having to deal with engineers and general contractors licensed to do that type of work.

Much of this is attributed to some unique aspects of our market, namely the "landlocked" nature of the county.

Here are some reasons why it may have cracked......depending on your area the most important aspect of the foundation is actually the soil it sits on.

And many of these firms are hiring talent of all ages certainly, but in the area of robotics, sciences and other technology fields, a lot of  young urban professionals are coming from CMU and need places to live close to these businesses. 

But the eductional aspect is invaluable and will help you make money down the road

Are there any other aspects I should consider in my quick analysis below?

First I would ask yourself what aspect of the business are you best at or have the most natural ability.

I feel fairly confident about most aspects of rental properties other than paperwork.

However, I quickly came to realize this feeling of discouragement was not really because I was discouraged about the business aspect of REI but more because of the emotional aspect I had developed during my "lengthy" due diligence of the property.
