BTW, what they sell or mentor may be of value, but if they are not willing to spill the strawberries and show what they advocate so that you can clear it with your local attorney, I suggest you not get involved with them.

We are getting back into real estate (buy and hold) as our eventual income stream.

Hello,I am looking for ideas of how to set up either a 'loan method' or a partnership with an individual private investor who has as a couple of his main objectives to 1) reduce his current tax liability, and 2) make a return as good or better than stocks/mutual funds while diversifying, and 3) possibly turn these loans/investments in a good 'income stream' in about 10 or so years when he is ready to retire.

My goal is to build a stream of passive income over next 7-10 years which can sustain my current lifestyle (10+ rental units).Primary residence:We have out grown our starter home and looking for a bigger home (4 bed or so).

We've been landlords for a whooping 6 weeks.One of our tenant, recently tried to change oil on her car and ended up spilling oil all over the parking lot (our next door landlord, who helps take care of our lawn, told us).
