I ask because you can turn this property into a short-term rental on platforms such as Airbnb/ VRBO.

Short of spending several years building experience with smaller deals, what would the folks on this board recommend?

That is laughable to us and also probably another reason we are so successful and you do what you do. 

We negotiated favorable terms with the seller, ensuring a beneficial agreement.

You can also usually get a conventional loan with more favorable terms if you are living in the unit for at least a year. 

I’ve been thinking going the second home/ mid term/ str route. another thought I have is venture further into a rental property but I know with rates, finding a deal that would cash flow would be tough. 

we just see so many threads on BP from OOS investors trying to do everything from Internet and it can easily turn into a disaster.i also see that you're trying to borrow as much as possible... which just puts a lot of pressure on your return because it makes the project more expensive.maybe you're set up for success but i just figured i'd ask.

In terms of maintenance cost and liability the PB Court is a no brainer.
