Full interior rehab like to the studs, or just cosmetic like some paint and cleaning?

The house needs a lot of updating- new bathrooms, kitchen, paint, floors…I spoke to one contractor on the phone who thought it should cost about 30K for what I wanted to do.

My opinion is that in a rental property, it's appropriate to buy wholesale, used, or scratched/dented appliances in a more entry level rental property.In a flip, if you're putting in new flooring, cabinets, countertops, paint, etc then you should also put in new appliances.

I would doubt if it would need more than paint and carpet and minor repairs.

Utilities are not sub metered.One half is vacant and needs new flooring, dry wall and paint.

Paint entire exterior of house= $24007.

This particular build has nice exterior finishes but it does not include insulation, drywall, trim or paint on the lower level and has no second floor whatsoever. 

The building had been severely neglected which helped us in the long run, in fact we just had it painted last week.
