From the windows started a bloody trail on the floor that led to the dining room, to the kitchen, to the living room, then it pooled on a chair, and there was a distinct bloody handprint on the armrest.

The main level featuring tall ceilings, living room plus powder room, spacious custom kitchen with new cabinets, counter and stainless appliances, formal dining, family room with built-in fireplace and access to deck.

Option 2 is to refi and use some of that money for new roof, water heater and maybe kitchen upgrades and put back on the market to lease for around $1700. 

Find properties that you can do a value add, like in unit washer & dryer, appliances, kitchen/cabs, find something that WILL add value.

City said I couldn’t make an ADU but I could have an extended family unit  difference was I can’t have “kitchen appliances”.

I have a newbie question and it's about my own place on the ground floor of a three family building I own, built in 1890 in urban Northeast USA.The space has a good sized pantry off a large kitchen.  

Use a satin finish on interior and exterior walls and maybe semi-gloss in kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms.

Because the unit has no kitchen, no living room, and is about 200 sq ft, it is one of the lower price points for a well-run unit.
