Soon closing on a property property cost $458k and the closing cost is really high we are doing FHA mortgage they are charging 2% of the loan plus application fee and mortgage insurance on closing for the amount of $7k and plus monthly mortgage insurance... in 2020 there was not just a thing 2% of the loan on mortgage origination loan fee!

You'll need to think about things like vacancy rates, property management fees, maintenance costs, property taxes, insurance, and any repairs or upgrades that might be needed.

For you, if you’re making great money and you’ve already sold your home, I imagine that you will be looking at top home prices, which makes it even more sense to do one of these strategies, because most higher priced homes are the ones comes with higher mortgages and a 1/4 reduction in rate makes an impactful savings.

Issues like this can take a while to sort out depending on if they can determine where/when the error happened and if there is any party or title insurance who will compensate someone for the error.
