If you're looking to learn take a look at the education tab at the top of the page, there are some great member blogs, webinars and of course the podcast is great.

My first advice would be to read the guide for new investors (look under Education, then Guides).

After two years of educating myself on the pros and cons of real estate investing I'm three weeks away from my first closing date (February 12th).

With regards to credentials, I'm an investor as well as an investor-friendly agent, so I make an effort to educate myself about auctions and the foreclosure process.   

I personally like the podcasts that you can find under the education tab.

I'd start with educating yourself as much as possible and save, save, save!  

I live in Ann Arbor, MI and I am seeking a group of educated and seasoned investors.

This will also force you to become educated in the markets you're farming.No different really from assessing other deals.

She could get a great education, great job, and still invest. 

I know that it will take some time but I am hoping that I can create a successful business in the next 4 years that will allow me to leave my job and fund my daughter's college education as well
