That said, you do not need a 1-yr agreement unless you're planning on listing way above market value.- You will still get a ton of calls.

She and I will be keeping in touch and my plan is to buy in 1-2 years. 

I just started my real estate journey and bought my first house that my wife and I, and our 1 year old were planning on moving into 3 weeks ago.

I am interested in buying a condo or house near a New England ski resort, with the plan to rent it most of the time and while keeping a few weekends open each year for personal use. 

Also, if I am traveling out of the country, they are not dependent on my cell plan, as long as I have wifi I can send and receive calls with a virtual number from anywhere in the world. 

Additonally, the rents are very much under market and so I plan on raising the rents $75-100 (and they will still be under market by about $100-150 even after the increase).

@Chris Papa if your plan is to flip properties, most hard money lenders in Texas will require that the properties be purchased in an entity. 

They're planning to relaunch in the future, and I look forward to what they have to offer.Since Landa's inception, there are other companies offering similar business model of investment.

I suppose the lesson for me here is to validate across several sources, and to actually visit the area the area I'm planning to buy property in.
