Hi Daniel, if your looking for rentals make sure to look at the percentage return on your money, but some of the other cities outside of Austin may offer lower priced properties if that is a concern.

The HVAC is around a 2000 model so that would be my main concern. 

Again, this is why you need a really solid syndication attorney when you are working on these deals.Syndication is not easy, but it can be extremely lucrative.  

I'm not entirely sure the product continues to be developed given their asset tracking still says "coming in 2017" but the site continues to operate so I'm going to reach out to the company to see where things are at and whether there's legitimate concern over the product shutting down.
