You will be responsible for snow removal and landscaping of the property.

After a 7 year tenancy there will be wear items that will need to be replaced but, as a tenant, those are normal expenses that are the responsibility of the owner.

I also like the “responsibility” aspect of forcing a confirmation event as if they can’t remember to confirm they won’t remember it’s rent day.

I would say as the owner of the property you are responsible for the security deposits irregardless if you actually receive them as part of the sale.

Reminds me of the 80/20 interest only days (why was that ever considered responsible)
