I think the markets you're looking at will continue to see rent growth but one would need to look deeper into supply delivery of new units vs. deman (job growth) plus rent prices relative to AMI (area median income).

I've combed through 5 or 6 pages of forum post related to REOs and haven't come across a whole lot of useful information.

When they look at your credit, they look at home much debt you have relative to your income.
