I'm curious why they are pushing this burden on the home owner, and if I pull my own permits what are my responsibilities and liabilities.

@Dustin RuffI was at a 2040comp plan last night and there is tremendous push back from SFH owners- they seem to only want SFH in their neighborhoods or people that are rich enough to buy their own home

@Edward Burke, Your pushing time to get the reverse set up but it's certainly still doable at this point. 

I also love your podcast and it has definitely helped to push me to learn and grow more in the multi family arena.
