I know about everything discounted possible.The problem is the contractor and the investor are not on the same page.The contractor wants to install easy labor new material.The investor wants to buy material for cheap.Cheap material is a pain to install. 

Markets provide price signals and an inability, or failure, to respond to those signals lead to poor outcomes. 

A lot of houses have had the receptacles updated since they are easier to run, but re-running overhead lights are a pain and require some wall repair afterward.

I have a feeling this place is set up in a weird way, which I’ve learned is a pain to deal with.

They knew that changing software down the road would be a pain, so he bought the one he wanted to use out of the gate. 

It's not the end of the world if you have to start fresh but you will just want to be aware of that...additionally, migrating bookings is a pain the butt often especially when you have future bookings and/or deposits in their system.
