My question is, would the city assessor's online database not change the owner of the property even if it is forfeited, or is it more likely the person still owns the property for some reason?

My objections to this is that this cost is coming directly from the HOA funding that I contribute to every month, and secondly its going to be painted by a professional even though the homeowner painted it himself.

I've heard it takes 4 months for a house to go from pre foreclosure to foreclosure, but i've seen houses online that have been in pre foreclosure since Oct of last year.
