G'Day everyone,I've been living and running a turnkey company, property management company and brokerage in Ohio since 2014.Just packed the family and moved to Dallas šMore of a lifestyle decision than anything else šAussie Bushman get a long really well with Texas Cowboys so I thought "why not" lolAnd you gotta love the Dallas Love airport with direct flights to my beloved Sydney, Australia.I'm not necessarily looking at doing any deals in Dallas as my hands are full in Ohio but you never know what the cat will find.I'd love to meet with folks and learn more about the market for who ever is interested in sharing šI'm an open book and happy to share all of my good, bad and ugly real estate stories over the last 13 years of my business career.I smoke 3-4 cigars a day (Cigar lounge?)

He has already submitted an application through Zillow, and we have the contact number of his current home manager.Please let me know if it's still a good idea to ask the potential tenant for a recommendation letter from their current landlord, or if calling the manager would suffice.By the way, what should we do if the tenant has simply provided a friendās number, and the friend pretends to be the landlord or property manager, or if he just make fake letter?

Our plan is to buy the first home in cash, likely $550k-$650k, operate it under management for 3-6 months, then refi to pull out what we feel the property can support for a mortgage so we do not end up upside down.Ā
