My practice was commercial and institutional architecture and I specifically avoided residential because the those clients typically had no clue how much it actually cost to produce a solid set of plans that gave contractors enough information to give solid bids.

Hi @Alex Sinunu - sorry you have not received a response yet on how to evaluate brokers.

I try sharing something with them and not a single response how am I expected to grow like that, that's one of my biggest downfall's as of right now, but I'm hoping joining this site that things will change for me in the future. 

@Jeffrey Stocker I don't think the location of the CPA matters provided that they have a solid background in Real Estate and software/tools to support you remotely.There are 20+ real estate CPAs commenting in this forum.

I think its a solid option to start your investing journey as long as the math works for you.
