I'm no expert, but I have made about a dozen cash offers to wholesalers, REOs, and auction sites in the past month, each one the home ended up sold to a buyer paying over asking price.

Hi all.I'm looking into the surrounding Austin area for my first rental investment property.My agent found me 10 properties matching what I'm looking for, and we boiled it down to 3.Since I'm out of state and unfamiliar with the area, I was hoping to gain some insight and tips from those familiar with the area.

@Jesse Smith I am by no means and expert but looking at the pictures I would imagine that at one point the house had lead paint on it (hence the redness in areas) but was at one point stripped and painted over.
