Well dad got out of jail and found the house to get his daughter.

I truley beleive the morning workouts - though they took a large chunk of time - gave mental clarity and energy throughout the day to get more accomplished

I have told my daughter (repeatedly) that money makes money.

. ;)Anyway, it's what happened this month with one of the the lower units that's bumming me out: A man, wife and 2 teenage daughters live in / have lived in this place for a while.

I have recently inherited 8 rental units and had twin daughters born.

The part that is greatest challenge is the mental and emotional drain on a person whether financial or up late at night worrying or stress. 

I had to really evaluate how close I needed to be to the blue line and what I could afford - what really got me there is that I think rideshare has lessened the overall need to be close to the train, rideshare is starting to become very competitive price wise across Chicago with CTA and it can really shift the "I have to be next to the train" mentality.

Use objective data (show them the comparable rentals) and also show you are improving the place even if minor (so they can mentally match the increase to the market and to visual improvements).

I know that some people call me hypocritical for having that frugal mentality in only some areas and not the rest, but I feel like it depends on what you value!

Living right is not complicated, it may be difficult to stick to, but not complex.Many Myths are rooted in denial and/or a short term easy way out mentality.
