Hi all,I've been all over these forum posts trying to find this answer and I keep going back and forth on whether it can or can't be done, so decided to reach out to some of you experts here.I'm trying to figure out if a seller, that is trying to do a 1031 exchange, can seller finance the down payment on their current property that they are wanting to sell?

Today, going rents in our neighborhood are about $300-$500 more then our current monthly mortgage payment.

@Gaurav SharmaDo you mean advice on fixing up and selling your current rental properties or fixing & flipping in general? 

All 3 of our names are currently on the title and the agreement was, once the loan is paid in full to his father, he would be removed from the title.Now my friend is going through a bankruptcy so we want to remove him completely from the land.

Keep educating yourself while in your current job and also look for some smaller developers if they are looking for helpUnfortunately right now is a bad time to get into commercial as job market has gotten crushed but stay positive and ask consider residential side for now as well vs commercial
