I'm not a contractor, but air venting from a microwave will frequently be quite humid.

Forget the fans and add central air or other AC equipment.

I have an interesting success story to share.A number of years ago, I posted about a 20 room motel in Central Florida that was a bank foreclosure listed for sale for $160,000.

For some tenants it was a breath of fresh air and their desire to stay in the community and contribute in a positive way as great tenants made the transition for us favorable as well.

If the unit has good air flow, such as you would find with a forced air HVAC system, it will lessen the chance of moisture build up.If the tenant had blocked the sliding glass door and surrounding area with excessive furniture, boxes, or clutter, then that could lead to moisture getting trapped.

Multifamily (Near Ft Bliss)  single family (central or the eastside). 

I thought it was just because the air was so moist from the little bit of water that was sitting near the sump pump.
