Personally, I think alot of landlords are against recieving rent up front, in past post they've said stuff like if the tenant is a problem, dealing drugs, fighting, ect. you cant really kick them out.

This includes meeting neighbors, talking to business owners, riding the streets both day and night, etc.Also I have nothing against an investor trying to expand their territory in order to increase profits but when you have people buying property in other states and neither they or anyone they know has actually drove by the property and seen the neighborhood I think you are asking for trouble.

When I save my receipts and bills digitally, I save them with a title like "Feb water 123 main street $63.54.pdf" so that when tax time comes, I can just scan my list of receipt and bill files and I don't need to actually open each PDF to get the dollar amount.

But there are definitely communities here where the homeowner is assessed the full amount for the sidewalk and even for a share of the street, curb, alley, etc when those are repaired or replaced.
