My main goal from this endeavor was to keep an invaluable asset (the house and land) in the family to create trans-generational wealth for my family. 

Even if you don't yet have the ability to flip houses or buy rentals, you still need to go through as many of the same steps as possible, so you can learn.You can do all this without quiting your main job too.

Is cash-flow the main reason for investigating in FL (Tampa, cape coral, the villages etc)?

Hi All,I have recently created a new LLC in TN for the purpose of Real Estate Investing and the LLC has 3 members (33.3% each) including myself and 2 foreign investors from the UK.

I purposely sought out the smallest bank in the area, and they told me yes because the areas is considered, higher cost of living and the VA increased the loan amount in that area to over $600K. 

My main challenge as a part-time investor is being lower on their buyer's list but that just logical business.

I grew up in Maine, lived in Colorado for ten years or so and moved back last summer.

Any success stories especially around Maine?
