Never have I ever heard of this mortgage credit score or someone else being stopped from getting a loan for a multi-unit due to this issue.

But if you are pondering investing in any of these states, then you will want to get counsel locally to make sure you are doing it legally.

We do not have the issues like they have in florida with concrete deterioration etc so its not as big a deal here.
