And the TCJA resulted in some IRS updates on section 179 depreciation and bonus which allow potential full dedcution of a roof on the property all in 1 year https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/new-rules-and-limitations-for-depreciation-and-expensing-under-the-tax-cuts-and-jobs-actSo you just get to deduct the entire roof in 1 year, and follow the revenue code.

Hello BP,I am looking at a 6 unit in Chicago listed for 360k and am using sellers listing agent to represent me as a dual agent and she said that seller cut back her commission and wants me to pay a $2000 finders fee.I am confused because doesn't she get both sides of deal?
