I am shortly listing my property (near ironwood point, east side of the lake) which is not in an HOA, has a deeded boat slip and is about 6 houses from the lake(5 minute or less walk). 1.5 acres property, setup for short term rental.

@Clark HagenI believe the mortgage would deed the house to you and is just seller financing and a contract for deed you don’t get the deedDefinitely want the mortgage and my recommendation would be to use the Fannie Mae templates docs (mortgage and note) which you can get online.

Buying my first rental house and going through the entire process of renting it out was the single most impactful step to propel forward into this journey.

I am new to real estate investing and BRRRR.I don't have much capital so I am wondering if it's still possible for a BRRRR strategy to work if I am doing a 20% downpayment on a house and have some cash left for renos?

We have one lake house and we have a CPA.
