Ultimate goal is similar to many...to reach financial freedom and generate enough cash flow so my husband can leave his W2.

Hello @Andreas Mueller,I propose the following method to narrow the number of cities to consider based on the goal of financial freedom.Financial freedom is more than just replacing your existing income.

.• Freedom of speech and expression.• Activities to get and maintain the attention of others.• Quality standards in which to support and maintain.• An environment that supports your critical thinking skills.• A democratic supervisor and work environment

IMO, a primary goal of REI is making enough money so that you can buy back your time and have total freedom in deciding how you spend your time.

Then once they are going I can live on low amounts of income IF I WANT TO, to have more freedom with kids and things I actually want to do.

I don't want to start my investing career as a long distance investor, and since I work from home, I have the freedom to move my family anywhere in the country so as to optimize our chances of success in this business.After much research, I have selected four cities that look promising: Orlando, FL, Arlington, TX, Huntsville, AL, and Ogden, UT.

It seems that BiggerPockets really managed to convince the big part of the younger population in US that the RE is the only way to achieve a " financial freedom".Get a W-2 job and invest in yourself first.
